Dis-Chem entrusts Optimate with their employee benefits

Dis-Chem have appointed Optimate Financial Solutions as their official advisors on employee benefits. The relationship affords Dis-Chem with the opportunity to review all their employee benefits and to provide their employees with the best possible deal when it comes to investments and their provident funds.

“Dis-Chem has appointed us to help them benchmark the value and benefit range that their employees enjoy and to ensure that they are able to provide the best possible long term investment solutions to their employees” says Antonio Lopes, Director of Optimate Financial Solutions. After reviewing the value and quality of their existing provident fund,  the Optimate Financial Solutions team advised Dis-Chem to change service providers and appoint Sanlam to administer their provident fund from 1 March 2017.

“The new offering not only gives Dis-Chem employees increased savings as the fund fees have been negotiated but there are attractive additional benefits offered by Sanlam,” explains Lopes, “increased funeral cover, financial protection for children’s education has been added to the death benefit, retirement counselling and a new in fund savings option are all exciting new additions. Sanlam’s impressive cell phone app and website also give all provident fund members easy access to the fund statements and benefits at all times.”
