Are you Financially Fit?

Do our free online course to help you stay in shape

Regardless of your age or career stage, working out good financial habits and staying financially fit is important. Our free online course gives you the basics that you need to keep your finances healthy and in shape.

We also have a team of financial advisors to guide you if you need more help.

Building a financial portfolio, securing a future for your family and safeguarding your retirement are important considerations throughout your working career. Just like being physically fit, it takes regular activity and reviews to stay on track.

We offer our Employee Benefits Fund members the opportunity to regularly attend our Financially Fit presentations. Here we share valuable investment insight, discuss market trends and align with ongoing legislative changes to help you choose a solution that best suits your needs and ensures a financially fit future.

Our presentations have specific  themes according to the life stage you are in. Common topics such as budgeting, saving, debt, insurance and investing are discussed in each presentation. When these are combined with our Defined Outcomes planning approach, they provide an educational plan that becomes practical and relevant to follow.

A member normally exits a retirement fund on retirement, retrenchment, resignation, termination or death.

This brochure aims to outline the options that you should discuss with a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® before you finalise your exit decisions.

Did you know that you will have to pay tax on any money you take in cash when you leave the pension/provident fund?

What you can do with your retirement savings, depends on whether you belong to a pension or provident fund. Find out more in this brochure.
